Milk it Mama!
June 27, 2018Time for Tapas!
July 6, 2018What is going on with this weather?!?
We are just not used to it – or the length of the heatwave – in this country!
I am loving it but I realised quite early on that jeans and a top or the maxi dress that I wore whilst I was pregnant [ha] were not going to cut it. I needed to do a big clothes order – for me and the kids [Kristian can sort himself out] which I have done over the past couple of weeks but I still need more!!!
So without much further ado, here is a small part of my lust list for July with a summer clothes/accessories theme! [and the featured image on this blog post is giving me all the feels – little Cecily last year on the beach in Italy!]
My lust list
I love a slogan tee. I love Muthahood.
This is my next purchase from her – the pink lemonade tee. You have to register your interest for this one and sales are due to open later this month.
Ready. Steady. GO!
I wanted a pair of these Salt Water sandals last year but never got round to ordering some.
Both kids have some and they are brilliant. They can get wet and you don’t have to worry about them getting ruined.
I’m going to be ordering some for myself – just cannot decide between the rose gold, shiny pale pink or white. Decisions, decisions.
I seem to buy loads of kids’ clothes but none for me…but they are SO CUTE!
Cecily will only wear dresses at the moment [unless she’s having one of those days and decides to put on winter clothes on the hottest day of the year!] and this one is beautiful!
The 50’s inspired lemon dress from Boden is adorable – I want it in an adult size too!
It’s white. It’s airy. It’s a t-shirt. It’s cotton. What more could you ask for? [god, I sound like a granny!]
Oo it’s also in the sale. Click here to grab one before they all go…just not a small because that’s in my basket ok?
I love Rufus in rompers – maybe it’s because I am clinging onto him being a baby still [he totally isn’t]
He actually has the llama one but the pineapple one is equally as gorgeous!
Cecily sat on my hat a few months ago and broke it. It was one of those lovely straw fedoras which are abundant on the high street so at least I’m not at a loss with trying to find another.
I might get this one from ASOS with the pom poms!
I want some new sunglasses, especially as Kristian has just ordered himself some Raybans…but I’m not spending silly money on mine [they’ll just be ripped off my face by an over-enthusiastic toddler and broken] so these are just perfect!
A nice cat eye shape and mirrored lenses – plus they are in the sale!
I’ve recently discovered this brand on ASOS – Liquorish. I have a cactus print maxi dress from there but they’ve sold out of this. Nearest thing to it is this which I think is cute!
Summertime means holidays [abroad or staycation] and sunshine means swimwear!
I do have bikinis/tankinis already but I have been lusting after this one recently. So you’ll see me in it either in the Algarve or in my back garden whilst I’m sat in the paddling pool pretending it’s somewhere other than Warrington!
Every Summer wardrobe needs a pretty pair of shorts in it. Denim shorts are fine but I am completely lusting after these animal print shorts from Karen Millen.
Alternatively I have found a much less expensive pair from everything5pounds.com which look really similar and they actually have a fab range of shorts – even ones that have pom poms on them! Can you have too many pom poms in your life?!
So there you go! A few items that I will add to my growing Summer wardrobe that will be paired with things I already have.
Fingers crossed this weather stays!!!
